General Operative

Straight Forward Recruitment are actively looking for a General Operative on a 2.00pm to 10.00pm shift, for a fresh produce company in Easton, Norwich. 

As a General Operative, you’re daily duties will be split between 2 areas of the business, per shift.

The first 4 hours (2.00pm to 6.00pm) you’ll be working with the Companies Ergonomist, in order to collect and check seed quality and clear any blockages within the seeding trays.

The remaining 4 hours (6.00pm to 10.00pm) you’ll be working as part of the Hygiene team.

As a Hygiene Cleaning Operative, your work duties will include: 

Maintain a clean working environment across all areas of the factory, including production areas.

Daily hygiene tasks – mopping of floor, cleaning of processing area, cleaning of machines, general tidying, emptying of bins, washing of walls 

Preparing production line for processing.

Candidates who have previous food factory cleaning experience, ideally COSHH trained will be considered for this position. However full training will be given to the right candidate.

Please note that candidates will need to have their own transport due to location.

IMMEDIATE START AVAILABLE

Shift Time: 2.00pm to 10.00pm

Pay Rate: £12.21 – £12.27 per hour
