Chill Room Worker

Straight Forward Recruitment are seeking reliable and hardworking Chiller Room Production Operatives to join our client’s busy pet food manufacturing facility based in Snetterton. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking for long-term work with the potential to secure a permanent position after 12 weeks.

Location: Snetterton
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 17:00
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour  increasing to £12.50 after 12 weeks
Contract: Temporary to Permanent (Temp to Perm after 12 weeks for the right individual)

Key Responsibilities

• Loading raw meat into production grinders

• Mixing ingredients in industrial process mixers

• Working in a chilled environment (approximately 4°C)

• Carrying out physical tasks including bending, lifting, and general manual handling

• Maintaining hygiene and safety standards throughout the production area

About You

• Previous experience in a production, food processing, or chilled environment is desirable but not essential — full training will be provided

• Must be comfortable working in a cold environment

• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks

• A strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
