Goods Return Operative

Straight Forward Recruitment is recruiting a Goods Return Operative for a busy warehouse in the Rackheath/Norwich area. 

Hours:     Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Pay:        £12.71 per hour
Contract: Temporary

The Role

You will be responsible for processing returned goods, checking items for damage and ensuring products are accurately recorded and sorted. This is a physically demanding role that requires you to be on your feet throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities

• Process returned products.
• Scan barcodes and update records using an iPad or handheld scanner.
• Check returned items for damage or missing parts.
• Sort products into the correct locations.
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area.
• Assist with end-of-day housekeeping.

Requirements

• Able to lift items up to 20kg.
• Good attention to detail.
• Comfortable using basic handheld technology.
• Good communication skills and understanding of English.
• Previous warehouse or returns experience is beneficial but not essential.
• An interest in fishing or angling is an advantage.
