Packing Operative – Goods in/out Department

Straight Forward Recruitment Ltd are recruiting a reliable Packing Operative to join a vertical farming facility, working mainly in the packing room and supporting Goods In / Goods Out operations.

Pay

• £12.21 per hour

• Increases to £12.27 per hour after 2 weeks

Shift

• Monday to Friday: 06:00 – 16:00

• Will change to 4 on / 4 off, 06:00 – 18:00 in the near future

• Only apply if you can work the future 4 on / 4 off shift

The Role

• Packing fresh produce to customer specifications

• Labelling and preparing goods for dispatch

• Supporting goods in / goods out and stock control

• Basic Excel updates for stock and dispatch records

• General warehouse and yard duties

• Working in a chilled packing room (approx. 8°C)

Requirements

• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

• Willing to stay until the job is done

• Basic to fair Excel skills

• Reliable, flexible, and hardworking

• Previous packing or warehouse experience preferred
