Straight Forward Recruitment are currently recruiting Process Operatives to join a well-established and expanding cosmetic manufacturing client based in Brandon. This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable and hardworking individuals seeking full-time work with the potential to move into a permanent position after a successful probation period.

As a Process Operative, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the production facility — ensuring all products are made to the company’s rigorous quality and safety standards.

Location: Brandon
Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour
Shift Pattern: Monday to Thursday, 06:00 – 18:00
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Follow detailed recipes and procedures to manufacture cosmetic products, ensuring every batch meets the company’s strict quality specifications

• Operate production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently

• Carry out manual handling tasks, including lifting and moving raw materials

• Conduct visual and physical quality checks throughout production

• Follow production schedules and achieve daily and weekly output targets

• Maintain a clean and hygienic work area, adhering to all health, safety, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) guidelines

• Report any equipment faults or production issues to the shift supervisor

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain smooth, efficient operations

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in a production, factory, or manufacturing environment (cosmetic or chemical manufacturing experience desirable)

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions

• A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic

• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks

• Reliable, punctual, and committed to the fixed day-shift pattern
