Straight Forward Recruitment are delighted to be working with our client, who require a Warehouse Manager. For their well respected Brewery facility.

As a Brewery Warehouse Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the brewery’s daily operations.

This position involves handling, organizing, and managing inventory, ensuring the smooth flow of materials, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our production process.

This is a Permanent full-time role and will also require supporting the distribution of their products, by providing relief Van Driver cover when required.


  • Team Leadership: Manage a team of draymen providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the team’s success.
  • Inventory Management: Implement and maintain effective inventory control procedures, conduct regular stock assessments, and optimize warehouse space utilization.
  • Operational Efficiency: Streamline warehouse processes to enhance overall efficiency, including order fulfilment, material handling, and shipment coordination.
  • Quality Control: Enforce and uphold quality control measures to ensure that all materials and products meet the brewery’s standards.
  • Safety Compliance: Implement and enforce safety protocols, including the proper use of equipment and adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Vendor Relations: Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to manage deliveries, resolve discrepancies, and maintain positive working relationship.
  • Dray Operations. The ability to step in as a relief driver for the dray is considered an additional qualification.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably in a brewery or beverage production environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on team collaboration and motivation.
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems and best practices.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations and compliance in the context of brewery deliveries.
  • Forklift certification is required.

Salary: £28,000.00-£34,000.00 per year

Working Hours:  Monday to Friday – 8.00am to 5.00pm, with Overtime as required.

Rate of Pay

£28,000.00 – £34,000.00 per Annum
